Qatar Family Visit Visa Requirements and Procedures

Eligibility Requirements

All applicants require a sponsor with eligible profession and minimum salary of 5000 QAR.

How to Apply via Metrash App

1. Open Metrash app and go to Visas section
2. Choose Personal > Request Application
3. Select “Family Visit Visa”
4. Scan passport main page using camera (do not upload from gallery)
5. Upload visa holder personal picture from gallery
6. Enter names exactly as in passport:
   • Given Name – First Name
   • Surname – Second Name
   • Father Name – Last Name
7. Attach required documents by camera capture
8. Click submit

Processing Time:  Adults: 5-10 days | Children: 2-5 days (Approximate)

Visa Management

Duration: Extendable up to 180 days (6 months)

Renewal Process

1. Open Metrash > Visas > Personal > Operations
2. Select “Renew Visa”
3. Choose visa number
4. Pay 200 QAR renewal fee

Cancellation

Visa automatically cancels upon exiting Qatar

Reapplication

Sponsors may submit new applications anytime after applicant’s exit from Qatar.

Printing Approved Visa

Once visa is approved,take mandatory visitor health insurance from approved health insurance providers (50 Riyal for 30 days insurance per head)
MOPH Registered Insurance Companies (Apply Onli​ne)

Then do the following steps

1. Open Metrash app > Visas > Personal
2. Go to Operations > Pay Visa Fees
3. Select visa number
4. Pay 200 QAR via debit/credit card

Post-Arrival Procedures

• Medical Examination: Required within 7 days of entry (adults only)
• Documents for Medical:
  • Original passport
  • Visa copy with sponsor’s mobile number
  • 100 QAR payment (card only)
• Medical results will be received as message in (mobile number of the sponsor) registered in Metrash within a duration of 24 hours to 5 days

Rejection Resolution

Visit Duhail Immigration Office and meet with Captain for appeal cases (Time 7am to 10.30 am)
